Who we are
Anglo Siam Advisory ("ASA", "we", "us") is a trading name of Siam Strains Co., Ltd., a company registered in Thailand, company registration number 0835566039106, at 76/9, Moo 6, Chao Fa, Chalong, Mueang Phuket, Phuket 83000, Thailand.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about anything here at alex@anglosiamadvisory.com.
What we collect
Through our enquiry form: your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, location, business type, the service area and business stage you select, your preferred contact method, and whatever you choose to tell us about the decision or problem you want to discuss.
If you email or message us directly, we hold that correspondence.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of running this website. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
We use it to respond to your enquiry, to work out whether a structured review is the right next step, and if it is, to scope and deliver the work.
Our basis under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act is that the processing is necessary in order to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where that does not apply, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Our enquiry form is operated by Formspree, a United States company, which receives and stores submissions before forwarding them to us.
Our email is provided by Apple's iCloud service.
If your enquiry needs a lawyer, an accountant or another specialist, we will tell you before we share anything with them, and we will share only what is necessary.
We do not otherwise disclose your data, except where the law requires it.
Where your data goes
Our form provider and our email provider are both based outside Thailand, which means your data is transferred internationally when you contact us. Where personal data leaves Thailand, we take the steps required under the Personal Data Protection Act to protect it.
For enquirers in the United Kingdom and the European Union, the same applies under UK and EU data protection law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements: 24 months from our last contact with you, after which we delete them.
Client records: for the duration of the engagement, and afterwards for as long as Thai tax and company law requires. Where we act as a processor on a client engagement, retention is governed by the relevant Statement of Work.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act you can ask us to give you access to your data or a copy of it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, transfer it elsewhere, or withdraw your consent.
Email alex@anglosiamadvisory.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you can complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.

We update this notice when our practices change, and the date at the top tells you when we last did.
